Refunds & Returns Policy – BornToChamak

At BornToChamak, we strive to ensure that every product delivered meets our quality standards. Please review the following policy carefully before placing an order.

 

Exchanges & Store Credit

We do not offer refunds on orders once they have been shipped. However, we offer exchanges or store credit under the conditions mentioned below.

To initiate any request, please contact our support team with your Order ID so we can generate a Return Authorization.

Items must be returned in unused condition with original packaging and tags intact.

Damaged Product Received

If your order arrives damaged, please follow the steps below:

• Record a clear opening video while unboxing the package
• The video should show the sealed package and the opening process
• Contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery

Requests submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for support.

Once the damage is verified, we will provide either:

• A replacement product, or
Store credit for the order amount if the product is out of stock.

All products are dispatched after thorough quality checks, and replacements will only be processed after verification.

Size Issues

If the product ordered does not fit correctly, we can assist with a size exchange or store credit.

Please note the following conditions:

• The customer must ship the parcel back to us via India Post
• The item must be unused and in original condition
• Once the parcel is received and inspected, the customer may:

– Place a new order for the same product in a different size
– Order another product
– Opt for a store credit valid for 365 days

Shipping charges for size exchanges:

Return shipping must be paid by the customer
Forward shipping charges will apply again when the new order or exchange is processed.

All product size details are clearly mentioned on the website, so customers are requested to review the size information carefully before placing an order.

Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number
• An opening video of the package

Our team will review the request and provide assistance accordingly.

Extra Shipping Charge – Incorrect Contact Information

If an order is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete contact details provided by the customer (such as incorrect address, phone number, email ID, or PIN code), the following will apply:

• A ₹100 reshipping charge will be applicable to dispatch the order again.

Important notes:

• Reshipping will be processed only after the parcel is returned to our warehouse
• It may take 5–7 working days for the parcel to reach us

If the customer does not wish to have the order reshipped, we will issue store credit after deducting ₹100 towards shipping and handling charges.

Store credit will be valid for 365 days from the date of issue.

Refunds

Refunds are only applicable in the following situation:

• The order has been paid but not yet shipped

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

If a damaged product cannot be replaced due to stock unavailability, the customer will receive store credit equivalent to the order value.

Invalid Reasons for Returns or Exchanges

The following reasons are not eligible for return or exchange:

• Change of mind after placing the order
• Buyer no longer wants the item
• Incorrect order placed by the customer without checking product details

Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions, sizing information, and order details before completing their purchase.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 24–48 working hours, and once the order has been shipped, cancellation will not be possible.

Important Note

BornToChamak reserves the right to inspect returned products before approving any exchange or store credit to ensure they meet the conditions stated above.
